Rancho de Guadalupe dates back to the year 1799 when it began to operate as a cattle ranch and where corn, oats and maguey were planted.
The ranch has been the place of events in honor of several Mexican presidents, among them Plutarco Elías Calles, Álvaro Obregón, Miguel Alemán and Luis Echeverría. Many governors of the State of Mexico have also been with us from Carlos Riva Palacio to Gustavo Baz Prada, Carlos Hank and Jorge Jiménez Cantú and local politicians as well as important public figures such as the painter Diego Rivera and the bullfighter Carlos Arruza.
